Located in the Auvergne region of France, home to the Massif Central, La Platriere is a beautiful renovated farmhouse set within 3 acres of gardens, with a large outdoor swimming pool, sun terraces, petanque, organic vegetable and fruit gardens, and small orchard. Situated in an elevated position, La Platriere offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Nearby is the Troncais Forest with numerous lakes. The volcanoes of Central Massif are within one hours’ drive away and the chic town of Vichy is also within a short driving distance. There are numerous Chateaux abound for those seeking the cultural heritage of France.

Throughout the year La Platriere hosts a number of workshops such as self-growth and personal development, goal setting, and life-planning. These workshops are run by various international teachers in their field.

At other times La Platriere offers an opportunity to relax and unwind either by
staying in the self-contained cottage, or within the main house.

RETREAT PACKAGES

We believe a Retreat should be just that........an opportunity to relax, reflect, and just be in a calm, and pleasant environment that is conducive to healing, replenishment and rejuvenation far from the madding crowd. At La Platriere, you can do as much or as little as you wish. We offer counselling should you wish.

Retreat packages are available throughout 10 months of the year, (excludes July and August). Retreat packages are not available during weeks when workshops/training are taking place. Please check with Andy or Jackie beforehand.

The package provides an option of full-board for a minimum stay of 3 nights. We welcome individuals and people staying on a shared basis. Complimentary therapies are available at additional price.

 At La Platriere our aims are:

• To give people the ability to relax and unwind in comfortable accommodation in a natural and un-spoilt setting.
• To offer guidance and help both the physical and spiritual side of life.
• To offer workshops, training and 1-1 counselling using various methods of complimentary therapy and self-development.
• To nurture others , bringing healing, peace and love into people's lives so that they may return to their daily lives revived, replenished and rejuvenated.
